Quote: Mad_Jack_Mcmad "It's no wonder our forwards don't make any meters they are constantly taking the ball stood still form a really slow pass. They should be 10 metres back and running onto the ball with pace. If they're not stood still they are taking the ball at second or third receiver and the defense is in their faces. It's no wonder Gilly keeps dropping the ball, pretty much every time he receives a pass he is hit by the defence almost immediately. The whole problem is made worse by the fact that every single team in the league moves up in defence quicker than us. Our line speed is non-existent. This isn't a new problem though we've been doing it for our entire time in Superleague.'"
That is spot on ....go and tell Baloo please!!
this is a real grind of mine , the fact that we have our forwards taken a ball from standing still and hitting the defensive line , which is about 5 metres away when they get the ball, at about 7 mph.
very rarely do we see our attacking line slanted accros it - all 12 men are literally stood in a line, within 10 metres of the PTB.
