| I can get the odd stalwart staying on and doing a last year to help the younger ones through, it’s when you see what Hull are doing signing numerous players.
When Leigh signed the likes of Briscoe and Zak it was said they was well past it and championship type players.
Fine balance of bringing in youth to that of it being no jeopardy with no relegation faced and playing season out

| Hull FC fans are delighted with Briscoe and Chamberlain. Just wait until they get half-a-season Olly Holmes and John Asiata. Hardaker appeared to be on the discard pile until a change of position has led to a mini-revival.
Gaz O'Brien has been getting regular knocks all season, but will slip into a squad player next season. Ricky Leutele is has been excellent this season considering the serious operation at the back end of last season. Older players are looking for a pension plan in their final years, and they become awkward to squeeze in their high salaries with longer contracts that they want. That is why Leigh are looking towards youth as part of the 5 year plan.
As LC pointed out Briscoe and Zak, were considered a risk due to their age, and two years later are a big part of Myler's escape plan.

Dont know where you get the idea that Hull FC fans are happy with Chamberlain and Briscoe, in fact all the signings from Leigh Asiata apart is very poor lazy recruitment by a rookie DOR who is only in the job due to nepotism.
Most fans initially welcomed the signings but as reality kicked in they can now see how poor that recruitment was

| "Hull FC fans are delighted with Briscoe and Chamberlain." I am well aware of the sentiment for those two, it is known in these parts as sarcasm.

O’Brien knows nothing more than knocks. What’s your point?

I should know better than rattle Atomic's cage, but here we go: Gaz O'Brien receives so many blows to his head, that I believe he is in danger of being retired out of the game due to repeat blows. He will not be the first or the last but he is certainly a concern and I don't want to see a Leigh player go out that way.
