17580.jpg First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

| For myself, I’d love to see some of our fringe players get a run
But
I get the feeling that A Lam will put out as strong a team as we can and if he does, I totally get why.
Fev are in turmoil right now, but this is their chance to get focused on the right stuff as a team, and turn over an old foe and the current champs. They will come, all guns blazing, have nothing to lose, and it is at their house. (But it actually isn’t of course )
Ollie Holmes though please.

Is it not at LSV then?

You raise a valid point
(In other words, you are right)
But in my defence, they are all away game to me

I think we need to go as strong as we can, without taking too much risk on players carrying knocks or niggles. I can see Lam for Dwyer being the only change to the 17 from last week, with McNamara being an interchange 9. Chamberlain or Brand might come in for O'Brien if he needs to rest whatever his niggle is.
Given how the IMG gradings will determine what league we are in, the Challenge Cup might need to be the priority. If we win the cup, then our performance score can only improve. If we don't then we lost 0.25 points as last season's win will not count for anything.

| I think we need are strongest team for continuity. The more they play together, the new combinations will work better.

| Hoping Lockie plays (though he won’t if not quite ready of course). Would be good to get more minutes on the field with Moylan. I feel they have the makings of a dynamic partnership

| Up and at it for breakfast rugby. Taylor Swift in the background as the lads warm up in front of the north stand.
What a way to start the day !

| A win is a win I suppose. But it was pretty poor in the most part. Things looked better once Lam came on, and McNamara who had struggled in the halves moved to 9. But then they switched off again for the last 10 minutes.
Have serious question marks about Halton, particularly in defence, two very poor missed tackles in the lead up to Fev's third try, and Hardaker will be disappointed with his effort in the third try.
Hopefully things will improve against Salford, with (hopefully) Dwyer, O'Brien and Lam back in the starting 13, but we are dropping off far too many tackles at the moment. We missed a lot against Hull as well, they were just too rubbish to capitalise.

| Bongser does not point fingers at any individuals, but it has to be agreed that the tackling on Saturday was poor to woeful. Anyone thinking that comment harsh did not see the heroics of (most) of last season and that was the thing that was most concerning. Yes, Cry Baby Wellens has got his way ($urprise, $urprise) and all teams are struggling to adapt. But, still....
