...and should we get one, after today's result, a win would see us guaranteed 7th place at worst. Degsy said before the season started that Leigh were not just there to survive but to compete for the top six. Job would be done, even with the disappointment of falling just short.
There's also the small matter (litotes) of being Challenge Cup Holders!
Best season for yonks. Job's a good 'un (as Ol' Pa Bongser used to say). |
