Mention of this happening has previously been made elsewhere on this site and now, according to yesterday's press, Reynold's re-signing does indeed look to be going ahead and, also fairly quickly at that.

I think Mellor is holding out on a late fitness test. Not sure what his injury is. Duffs playing him v Pies knowing he was carrying an injury would say to me it’s controllable. |

This is a good signing for me. He looked the best I have ever seen him before the pandemic put the brakes on everything. Also come back exactly when we need a halfback.

Bongser , I was the same before last season , but I’m ready to give him a chance , I think he is more confident these days, and has the feet of Peter Gordeno , the hands of David Nixon , and kicks like Douglas Bader, I’m happy with his signing .Charlie knows . |

The only good thing about his kicking game was at goal. Out of hand just as bad as Wallace was last week, although a good tackler.Hopefully just a stopgap until Ellis returns. |

Should never have left really.
Two good reasons for his signing.
1 - He can cover half back and has a decent kicking game
2 - He is probably a better Full Back, therefore play Brierley there, and play either Wallace 6 , 1 or whatever, because Wallace surly will not play that poorly again!
