17580.jpg First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

| Any thoughts on the game today from the folks that went ?
I see that Richardson took a conversion, hope Riddy was not hurt. Any other injury concerns ?
With Toronto and Sheff both losing it is very tight for those top 4 spots. It's going to be a great season.

Richardson was mom and no riddy didn't look injured just wasn't his day,the 2nd half I think swinton had about 70%of the ball so we did nothing but defend

In John Duffy's post match interview he said that Riddy was feeling a slight groin strain, in the heavy conditions, so he went off as a precaution.

Thats good news.
Lets remember that Swinton are a slippery side, and should have beaten Halifax last week. A good 2 points and a good crown with the sounds of it.
We just need to ensure that we keep picking up the 2 points. After Torontos thrashing, I feel it is going to be tighter at the top than people think (but they should finish first easily)

Decent / Tough game in poor conditions Riddy / Richardson ran the game for Leigh who deserved to beat a slightly underperforming Swinton side. Nice warm up run out for Jamie Acton.

| Bad conditions but a decent game Centurions ball retention first 40 was very poor resulting in them having to defend sets more than they should have Defence at times was first class when the warmer weather and dry conditions come around i think this team will take some beating Well Done both teams for an entertaining game

| Great defence, Swinton had most ball all game, had no choice but to throw it about in difficult conditions as we had no size in the pack but the heart and will to defend was immense. Spell with ball leading to HT was the gamebreaker as went 4-0 to 20-0 in a few minutes, a couple of howlers from both Pownall and Marsh, Marsh was at fault for both try's imo. Cator reminds me so much of Liam Farrell, looks too small to play the way he does, but does it every week. Come through the next 2 with wins and we can start to dream of a play off spot, but need 2 Grunt and a centre/wing for starters to seriously challenge
