| Been told Derek in considering staying at the club
I think he has mismanaged the club used the cheque book instead of common sense to run the club
It’s all been about egos and Derek has a over sized one
Had he not been so stuburn Jukes should have gone halve way through our Super League Season
I won’t knock Derek for the money he has spent on our club
But for the benefit of our club I think he should settle our money problems and walk away
Even if we do go into liquidation we can re form and work our way up again using players and coaches we can afford
With a good wage structures and a crowd off 2000 we will be a big player in League 1 and Championship and just Maybe Super League
So for the benefit of the club Derek just go
And thanks for all you have done

| If you are happy playing at Miners with a lego stand down one side then the above post is perfect for you. If you think we can hook a bloke willing to put in what derek has, despite the errors made, who bleeds LRLFC and is ready to lead again but learn from errors made then the moon is made of cheese and bears do not poop in the woods.
If Derek can get the wage bill under control and still has the desire to make our club a permanent SL fixture then lets learn from recent events and come back better for them

| As I posted after the penultimate home league fixture, and contrary to common opinion it was my belief that Derek was actually going no where.

Well if he's going no where,he must be aware of something in the pipeline..Which I believe is still on.

| Is this why some players were underpaid by over half their contract before the Swinton game?
I suppose its one way of getting them to leave.

I am sure those effected would be happy to find a new home, if the bank is less than the salaries how do you pay salaries. Heard Hutchinson was paid 25% btw but was that because he is on a lot more than say Dawson who may have got paid say 80%? thus evening up what each get paid from the small pot?? Only a few weeks to go now, Thank God.

| Don’t the RFL tip money into the clubs account monthly (over £100k) until October aslong as the club fulfills its fixtures?

| We will be reet. It is alleged most players have now agreed to deals and one or two others remaining have been given a deadline.
I would say we will be part time for a season under KP coaching stewardship , leaving potential scope to strengthen the playing rost in time for the SL promotion play offs.
When do 2019 STs go on sale is what I want to know?

Agreed to deals for this season or next Harold, you make it seem a lot more positive. Possibly why the likes of Peter Kaye has gone AWOL again

Sounds promising if it's reet Harold.

Yep, makes sense.
I too thinks Derek will stay. He has had a pop at Sl and can do again spending very little.

| I have to say that I hope Derek doesn’t stay because,
1. I believe we need owners who will lets things be done the right way, with minimal interference, and make tough decisions based on the best thing for the club.
2. Be prepared to stay through good and bad.
3. I don’t believe that getting to SL is going to be any easier than it currently is (hence good and bad).
I think that 1 guaranteed promotion place will lead to an even more competitive Championship, with several teams willing to spend big to try get that spot. That to me does not mean a cheaper or easier track to SL. We will still have to be top 4 (or was it 5) and all the money spent this year didn’t make either of those things happen with Derek in charge. And then we will have to win a series of winner takes all playoff games.
All those things don’t add up to the best thing for the club being Derek staying. No malice meant, just my personal opinion.
