He's been with the Leigh Centurions Academy side this season.
Tommy Sale MBE Youth Development Programme
[iTommy Sale Youth were absolutely delighted to see Brad Whelan warming up with the Leigh Centurions on Sunday. He is an absolutely dedicated young lad who has progressed through Leigh East and did a stint at the Salford Academy before it disbanded. He’s got a huge amount of potential and we’re proud to say he pulled on the Tommy Sale Youth shirt & his potential secured him a place in the Reserve Team for Leigh Centurions. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control i.e. weather conditions, other teams not able to get a squad etc... The Reserves didn’t get a game this season. But our initiative has given Brad the opportunity to develop his skills & train with the first team. Hopefully, it won’t be long before we see this young Leigh Lad in a first team kit.[/i |

It's still a pretty decent squad.
Imy hoping we can keep a majority of this team and move on.
If Hood is to go, get what we can because I think has been fantastic for us and is one of the best hookers around.
