Bored of threads about coaches now. Which players do you think should be playing on Friday?

Assuming Bailey is not available given it's within 7 days of failing concussion test, which props should feature? Mason seems like he's struggling for fitness since coming back into the side and Baldwinson did very limited minutes against Toronto. Maybe time to let Patrick back into the fold, and Blagborough. Both getting good reviews from Worky fans on their forum.

As for the backs, the right hand side was found wanting in defence again after being much improved recently. Probably give them benefit of the doubt this time, but would be good to find a place for Evans in the back line if fit. He's our comfortably our fastest player.

We have to go with Hood & Mortimer at hooker.

I can't see us sending a 'weakened' team - although I would expect Mortimer to get a game. I would suggest that the coaches/squad feel they are in with a shout, especially at Featherstone. (as distinct from Leeds) We have to somehow create another long, winning run - and the sooner we start that, the better. Another defeat would not aid confidence.

I can't see us fielding a weakened side, but would expect changes. Hard to think Mortimer or Evans wouldn't get into our best 17 for example. Plus Bailey is missing while Mason, Baldwinson and Acton all had below par performances against Toronto, so could feel there place in danger.

I'd be tempted to try something a bit different, along the lines of;

I’d start with just swap Bailey and Higham for Mortimer and Larroyer

Some interesting selections but you have named players who are out on loan (not DR) and therefore cannot be recalled. For Evans to come in on to the wing. Mickey H to have a rest and Morts and Hood to share the 9 spot. Hutcheson is a player who needs to play every week - he thrives on it and we have seen the incremental improvement in him.

Spot on! Win this, then you have a reference that nobody in the Championship or 8's is to be feared.

Who's on loan as opposed to DR? There's Bergal at Swinton, and Lovett at Workington. But as far as I can see, Blagborough, Gregson, Bailey have all been playing DR at Workington. Not sure if Dezaria has been playing anywhere.
