Hard to figure out any foreign exchange impact as unlikely that the funding will be in Canadian dollars, nor the payments. If they are smart, they will be hedging the currency risk at least a year in advance to mitigate the risk.

Weren't the salary cap rules for below superleague altered after degsy politicked for its change, to be able to snap up as much ex superleague (and the odd nrl) talent as possible over the last few years?

I have watched every one of Toronto’s matches on Premier Sports and I feel that their current squad would have struggled against the top five in this seasons Championship. They certainly need the quality signings for next season.

They adhere to the same cap and fed/non-fed & marquee player rules as the other clubs, it's pretty simple really.


Exchange rates I assume will be the same as is agreed with Catalans, with a pre-determined exchange rate set. Plus, it depends on what currency they pay their players.
