I'd just like to congratulate Leigh on being part of a game that nearly gave me a heart attack. You never gave up and when Patterson stripped that ball at the end I thought we were done for. However it seems we have learnt from last years mpg and decided to give penalties away to waste time.

Good luck for the rest of the eights and here's hoping we meet again in SL next year.

Lol one thing for sure Leigh will not be in super league next season! Massive changes need to be made at the club but it's too late for that should have happened months ago. We have a team that is clueless, no leadership or imagination and that is the coaches responsibility!

How can you sign off your posts with "loyal fan" with the negative tosh you have been posting on here. It was obviously going to be a very tight game against KR with neither team taking risks. I am just glad we did not resort to the time wasting and deliberate infringements that KR have admitted to. The transition into SL is massive and has been a struggle all season. Where I do believe the club went wrong is in signing too many players over the age of 30 - this is a young man's game. The recent signings of Mortimer and Langi - together with the return of James Clare may still be enough to get us up IMO

We went down last year because we didn't hold down a Salford player to run down the clock. I'd say we are a team thats learnt and whats the difference between that and a team drilling the ball into touch to run down the clock?

I guess committing fouls is slightly different than kicking into touch. (although the end result is the same, in using up precious time) For me, what conceding those penalties illustrated, was that (once again) you proved smarter than us. (and more capable of executing a game plan)
