Sad to read news of the passing of Frank on 9th May. A great supporter of the Centurions who will be sadly missed by home and away travellers. RIP Frank, details in this weeks journal

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Frank.

A life long supporter of the club who would also have installed and serviced many a Leyther's boilers in his time. A couple of years ago I found myself sat next to Frank on the supporters coach up to Workington and in a pleasant way I could hardly get a word in all journey as he talked passionately about the good old days of Leigh RLFC. A very pleasant journey that made a 3 hour trip pass in no time. I also remember the time he could not locate the coach in Halifax in the immediate aftermath of the NRC final celebrations.

I also remember when he couldn't find the LISA coach after a night match at Keighley and we had to leave him behind Fortunately for everyone David Parkinson our intrepid reporter located him and brought him back to LSV great bloke with a poor built in SAT NAV

RIP Frank condolences to friends and family.

I first met Frank when he trained the football team at Lowton Labour cub in the 70's and usually bumped into him at the Leigh games over the years. A very nice guy was Frank. RIP

Very sad to hear about Frank's passing. I've known him for many a year and have spent countless hours with him, putting the world of Leigh Centurions to rights.

Also, Frank was a trusted and respected plumber/gas engineer who always serviced my parents' central heating system (& put the world of Leigh Centurions to rights with my Dad!)

Frank was my first football coach when I played for the combined Pennington/Kingsleigh cubs team. Always said hello whenever I saw him, even in later years.
