| Well Widnes have beaten Saints, which now puts them a point behind Hudds and us. Pressure is building now to avoid dropping further down the league

I think we will win tomorrow in the Cup, it will be close though, but I can't see us beating Saints the Friday after, then it becomes crucial we beat Wakey at the LSV the week after, to be honest the middle 8s are nailed on now.But I think the realists expected it, maybe Cokey and a couple of others thought different.

| Maybe a bit more consistency from the refs , tonight Saints hold the ball in the scrum ( a tactic I hate ) and the Widnes pack breaks from the scrum " play on " says the man with the whistle

| We should finish bottom of the table, be amazed if we don't.

Keith ,I think it's the same with most teams, when they are winning ,things seem to go ok and everything in the garden is rosy , however when a few losses occur the pressure tends to get to players ,and their discipline suffers, Hock and Acton being prime examples,I'm a big fan of Gaz Hock , but he has slowly gone back to his old ways, we need to get some bodies back on the field, for me Mitch Brown is a big loss,we knew injuries were going to happen , we have been hit harder than most our rivals.

Good Evening Ian. Maybe the realist are happy now that we could be facing the middle 8s which would prove them right, and Cokey was expecting to be reminded about it. Cokey's prediction of finishing in the top 8 was based on the fact we didn't have such bad luck with injuries and tough disciplinary decisions, which has played a big part in our struggle to progress in SL. Ian, you know me,I'm a glass half full, and will always take a positive view and keep fighting in that manner.BTW - I still haven't given up on a top 8 spot because it's still possible to finish in there. There will still be some twist and turns yet in SL ,and who knows what can happen? Yes we are having it tough atm,but it sure brings out the doom mongers. I also take note the attraction this forum brings when we lose and it gets tough, yet when we win,the trolls are hiding under the bridge. BELEIGHVE.

As an experienced coach that you are, can you not see that our forwards have dominated other teams (including mins on the pitch) not only wire, saints and Hudds where we have got points, but in other games also - the backs are our weakness and we play to our strengths

Although winning builds confidence, target this season was (and still is) to be a SL club in 2018, position is irrelevant, I'm to lazy to look things up but I don't think HKR were bottom last season.

2nd bottom but we didn't get hammered once to be fair all year and picked up notable wins throughout the year. Two 16-58 wins at both Cas and Wakey, a draw against a top Wire side with 12men and a win against Leeds away whilst beating our MPG game victors Salford twice comfortably in the season. We had a terrible injury list consistently throughout the year like yourselves now with no half back combo almost at all and then to top it off Mr Albert Kelly goes walkies.
It was a freak season with a freak ending. Middle Eights are a bit flawed with you being able to do a Wakey of 15' and prepare for it now.
I'd be surprised if Leigh hit the trap door.

| I still feel we have enough to stay up in the 8s and that's without any recruitment, will we recruit if we end up on bottom 8s?
