There were excellent, although we were poor and missing 5 key players. Their first 17 is a top 6 team IMO and look really well coached, really tough game and probably not one you won't the way you are playing, it could get ugly.

Surprised Naughton has been dropped, played well against Catalan and won't be able to play against Hull on Monday. If Higson or Dawson gets a knock against Salford we are screwed.

We have everything to play for,and a committed performance is all i ask.All is not lost. Did you know, If - yes If, Leigh had beaten Wakey,Widnes & Catalan, We would be 4th in the league ahead of Hull Fc. I hope we can find some form on Friday. If not,then on Monday against you lot.

Sheens must have been kicking himself as well when O'Brien kicked him into the Championship but it sounds as if Marwan has replaced him wisely. Pete (whose pint never seemed to go down - down to his drooling) reckons that it is the first time in years that he's seen Salford playing as a team.

Errrm - more than problems on the left. Salford looked extremely good on SL Show (yes, one doesn't see the whole dashed caboodle) - fast passes, numerous SUCCESSFUL offloads, quick switching of the line of attack etc. That said, the FC line looked really ragged - which gave rise to which, Bongser wonders?

Btw, someone posted on another thread (probably on page seventeen by now after all the shenanigans of the last few days) that the Hull full back was responsible for shipping fifty odd points. Harsh and a tad more given Salford's attacking play and his teammates' capitulation. Wonder what folk would post on here had Greg been sold a sidestep as Darnell McKintosh was as last man for Bladdersveldt?
