My condolences to all his family and friends. Rest in peace Bod and thank you for all you did for our club.

I am saddened to hear of this. Bob lived and breathed Leigh Rugby League club.

When we were at Hilton Park,after many a home game you would always find Bob, along side Margaret in the Mick Martyn bar late into the Sunday evening, still talking about the match, our club, and all things Rugby League.

Great bloke Bob who loved Leigh along with Margaret ,attending most games home and away.
Bob was a true Butts Bridger who started Dootson Park Under 15s Football club, which was a really successful club that evolved into Eastleigh FC. Lots of young lads including Woody played for Dootsons ,myself included at a time when very little under age football clubs were around.
