On the Total RL website James Webster whilst discussing the million pound game is quoted as follows:

"The RFL are trying to create some publicity which is fantastic for the game, but in my opinion, you get one week’s publicity for probably weakening the competition next year, so you get 27 weeks of mediocrity next year for two weeks of interesting stuff – but that’s just my opinion.”

What do we think of that?

I have written to Rugby League express about that and Jamie Peacock's recent comments on the Super League show. The pressure must really be getting to them over there.

His team has regularly contributed to the mediocrity this season, "people in glass houses................

Hes probably managed to create the worst 2 SL teams in the last 2 years.. so if anyone should exit SL its Mr Webster.

Peacock is a throw back to a time when prop forwards weren't expected to think.

And Webster is the king of mediocrity, as displayed in his coaching performance this season, and last season at Wakey

No acknowledgement of the fact they have lost at home to a championship team, and the bottom placed Super League team. They're lucky to have another home game to save themselves.

Wasn't too bothered who went down until Peacock, Cockayne and Webster went off on one.

Don't remember KR complaining last season, the mighty Leigh went about there business quietly and professionally and got the results for sheer hardwork and dedication.
