Regarding the crowd' before the match I was talking to two guys who were coming to their first Leigh game since 2005. Wonder if they'll come again because quite honestly I hardly thought we were good throughout the game.

Our players have to improve greatly or we will get hammered by all the current Superleague opponents.

ATEOTD we slowly took control of the game against a very good (IMO) London side, didn't panic and got on top to dominate the game.

Booing the team by some in the North Stand won't do their confidence any good. I think we thought the game was won and as a team gave up. I would turns off the big clock or have it as a count down clock as they see twenty to the hour as the final whistle time. Where as it was nearly ten to on my watch when the hooter went.

Fergie time in first half when Leigh scored on 46. I think 4 pt margin was accurate reflection regardless of how we got there. Enjoyed most of the Leigh fans, some appear to still be in the 60s.

Constable, we have a few fans in their 60s but still knowledgable,yesterday's game was a game of 3 thirds,the first 3rd an arm wrestle to see who was stronger, Leigh then showed what we can do in the 2nd 3rd and looked to have taken the game away from London, in the 3rd ,3rd it was London chancing their arm,playing the passion g and support game very well, and when a team plays like that it is hard to defend against.
My view on the game we won , but Ian Watson the Salford Coach was sat in front of me, I asked him what he thought?He smiled and said he enjoyed the game.
Next week ,another game another hopefully better performance.The plusses Brown an Dawson,and we need Lee Smith back, McNally is no doubt a good attacking player, but his defence isn't the strongest,I still believe we can beat Salford,again Riddy and Drinkwater impressed me.

You're at the business end now. Forget the performances and just look for results. If you're in SL next year nobody will give a damn.

They just got on a roll. Throwing the ball anywhere and everywhere and it all stuck. Hard to defend against when a team plays like that and everything they do comes off.

They scored 3 in quick succession and then we finally put a good defensive set in and seemed to have stopped the momentum. They kicked on the last, it hit our player square in the chest and could have gone anywhere. Of course it went straight back into the arms of the kicker and they went straight through for yet another try!

Yes it was sloppy from us but sometimes teams just hit patches where they can do no wrong and at least this time we held on for the win.

We need to be way better next week though if we even want to stay competitive with Salford.

We wuz out on our feet last ten.Some just could not move to cover the gaps.not sure why this would be.has he flogged them in training after a week off.had they been on the pop.london bombed 2 tries.
first 40 was poor.errors followed by penalties followed by a score. that seems a common pattern, same at fev many other games
