Reni Maitua has posted on twitter that he will be hanging up his boots when the middle 8s are completed.
At least he has done the decent thing and given the club notice of his intentions - would rather he kept it to himself for now though.

He has just finished peeing himself at another player who has shafted the club.
"Please release me from my contract as I wish to go to Australia"....................then promptly signs for Toronto. I retract my good luck messages Mr Emmitt and have Leigh missed out on a transfer fee or was Emmitts contract up at the end of this season anyway. DB, over to you.

Maitua has been fantastic this season and has come up with some crucial tries, none more so than yesterday's winner!
Think Reni and Weston are the only players to have played in every game so far.
Hope we can send him out on a high!

One of my moments of this season was the smile on Rene's face as he received the ball just before he crossed for the try against Bradford yesterday, he knew he was in from the moment he caught the egg.
He has indeed been immense this season.
