If the rumours are true about Brierley and Beswick, even with the current squad we have a decent side!
1. McNally / Smith
2. Higson / Pownall
3. Worthington / Harper
4. Armstrong / Tonga
5. Kay / (Free space for a signing if injuries occur)
6. Ridyard / Reynolds
7. Chase / Foster
8. Moimoi / Emmitt / Spencer
9. Higham / Hood
10. Weston / Acton / Hopkins
11. Hansen / Maitua
12. Hock / Dixon
13. Patterson / Barlow?
I think we'd need to sign one decent prop / second row to cover for Barlow, apart from that I wouldn't change the squad much at all...... consistency is key, as shown by Leeds, Saints etc...

6 weeks ago I would have said it definitely looked like his last year.
The way he has started off this season though, who knows! Looks twice the player we saw last year, getting a full pre-season in seems to have done him the world of good. Maybe Tongans are like PNG players and he will just keep going until he is 50.
Early days yet but if he stays in this form until the end of the year I would have no problem with him doing another year if he feels up to it. |

I still think we need at least 1 if not 2 wingers who have real pace |
