I will be enjoying a beer responsibly in the North Stand this Sunday & it feels like a day & an age since our last home game.
This time her indoors is off to a 1yr olds birthday party, so that would be 1 down from our household, however a friend/associate/Leeds fan will be joining me so that is now 1 up.
Looking forward to this despite Wigan never sending a full strength squad.

Who is going to be missing for Leigh?
Brierley, Emmitt, Pala and Barlow all out. Is Pownall missing too? I know he went home early from Lanzarote with some sort of injury or illness but not sure how serious it is. Anybody else missing this one out?

What crowd numbers are you expecting. All being well i might take the Grandson weather permitting ?

I tend to agree there Derek, though a fair few Leythers think there will be a lot less on , I will be disappointed anything less than 5000, after the money Derek has spent , the quality of players on view,and the fact that we are playing Wigan, I'm also going for a Leythers win of at least 10, maybe 20.

ColD you are right about the price for a friendly, and it will put a few Wiganers off, I just think fans should show Derek how much they appreciate his spending,the season before last our break even crowd was 2000, I don't know what last season's break even was?I would think this season must be around 4000- 4500 ,can we achieve this?I think we can but we must start on Sunday.This will be the defining season for our SL destiny for me,we need to start by showing Derek and the Team we will be with them in decent numbers, I HOPE I'm right.

Think Pownall went home to see a dentist with an abscess. Don't know how long that'll take to heal but don't think he went home with any sort of sporting injury.
I'll be there. Not sure we'll get 5,000 on for a friendly but w!g@n usually bring quite a few so ~3,500-4,000 wouldn't surprise me. |

I will be in attendance as I would any game v the Old enemy and am hoping we gave them a right old tattering.
I do feel sorry for the 'security operative' who will be searching the away fans, he'll need quarantining after a day touching up the Humble fans.

Got my tickets today + matey boy's & 1 for his young Son.
Ticket office said "plenty left" for the North Stand so maybe not as many as I initially thought will attend.
Maybe 4,500 - I had hoped for nearer 6,000.
Lot's of Pies I have spoken to are gobsmacked at £20 for a friendly & won't be going.
I agree that Leigh fans should be repaying DB & the whole team by turning up in big numbers, not just this Sunday but for every home game.
