You may have seen that it's been mentioned that there should be a permanent tribute to Tommy sale.

I'm sure all agree with the above, but what do people feel is appropriate?

Renaming the north stand has been mentioned but that may not be possible as, apparently, the naming rights are owned by the lsv. However, if the public requested it then you'd be surprised if it didn't get approved (and not like they've been successful selling naming rights so far).

I believe that naming the north stand would be appropriate.

Also, I've seen that the north stand will be open from Tuesday for tributes for Tommy. Personally, I'd rather give some money in his memory. Anyone any ideas what could be done? We could raise money for the trust by donations in his name? It may be possible to start a foundation in tommys name but as I suspect the objectives would be similar to the trust, that could be more sensible? Could raise money for Lisa? Or a charity close to his heart if not the trust or club?

If anyone knows his family and when appropriate, could they be asked? It may be that an announcement is made.

Agreed! The best tribute would be as many people as possible in the LSV for the Wigan game. He would have loved a big crowd to support the boys.

There was once talk on here of having a memorial garden somewhere on the LSV site, if the option of renaming the North Stand is declined, perhaps LSV would consider a suitable location to have “The Tommy Sale Memorial Gardens” Provided of course the family consider it appropriate.
