On walking back to the lay by close to the police helicopter landing pad there was at least 10 cars with there passenger windows put threw also wing mirrors smashed. there was children saying why and can't we go home but no, glass every were its sad in this day and age you cant travel away to games without scumbags ruing the day. we was lucky our old banger didn't get targeted.

Really? Wow, this is the first time I have ever heard of anything like this happening in and around the AJ Bell Stadium. I would suggest contacting the club and stadium direct and giving them as much information as possible. I am sure they’ll be proactive in assisting however they can.

the people who got there cars damaged phoned the police, but what can they do .not alot i feel sorry for the poor people. also can i say one of the people was a warrington supporter so not just targeting leythers. Thats like £100 quid to replace said window or a big hit on there insurance. s

The cars that were targeted were all alongside the hedge. We were parked in the middle so no problem. I spoke to a Salford supporter parked in front of us. He said he had been parking there for 2 years with no problem. His friends car had been done and a pair of sunglasses stolen. Points to mindless vandalism to me. Scum doesn't come anywhere near describing them.

Sorry to hear this, but not surprised
We sat in the East stand.We witnessed obnoxious behavior from a small group of so called Salford fans sat together as two families wives and young kids.The foul and abusive language, insults to opposing fans, was something not witnessed at an RL game for some time.Last recollection is persons from the same club at Hilton Park.
They had taken alcohol into the stadium and topped up throughout the game.
We were out classed on the pitch but, barring that stupid song. not off it

This also happened to a few cars when wakefield played them the week before, so it seems they are doing it regularly.

Sorry to hear this. Whilst I don't know the specific details of this incident it is a reason why I never show my club colours when my car is parked.

I'm very proud to support my team no matter how good or poor they are. I however don't have deep pockets to fund repairs caused by mindless idiots irrespective of which ground I visit.

I hope that the culprits are caught and punished severely.

Apparently this incident included Salford fans as victims too so not showing your clubs colours isn't much of a solution.
