Great ongoing effort to develop the club by all involved at Leigh East

The best facilities in amateur RL bar none. A professional outlook that puts most semi pro clubs and some pro clubs I've come across to shame. A united club from newbies at five and six year old to open age and everyone from the Chairman and Committee members to the coaches, players, volunteers of all age groups all on one site all pulling together with one common goal working hard and striving to be the very best they can be.
As Keith says in the opening post a great win Saturday against a previously unbeaten and strong Millom team. Report and highlights now online leigheast.org.uk/fixtures/report/679
Its also worth highlighting that the communications team produce all reports, video footage and the website at zero cost to the club and as volunteers so massive wraps to everyone concerned.

I went along to watch East's on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised by everything about the team, they seem a great bunch of talented lads ,have a very good coach, an excellent set up and facilities, have Andy Mazey involved ,a bloke who loves his rugby , wears his heart on his sleeve and has a word for everyone,I wish he was back at the Centurions , and have Keith Lathom ,who is East's through and through,I enjoyed the game and will defiantly be going again.

Absolutely John, two great clubs, the town is fortunate to have them both.
However this thread is about Leigh East so not quite sure what the purpose of your comment is especially as I've read the same comment on Facebook page also. |

Hey Andy you know me , I say what I think always have done,everything about East impresses me, the Management ,Players , and set up,I've known the Wingfield family for around 50 years now ,I was brought up with Tony ,Pauls dad, hopefully East's can get promoted ,and eventually we get back to having the great Derby games again,a full blooded East's v Miners game nowt better.Charlie knows.  |
