Big mention too hock thought he was quality ran the ball hard and got threw a lot of work!! Nice too cap it with 2 try's!! Workington are a good physical team they matched us first 40!! Got too love the class all over the pitch breirelys hands are unreal!! Moi moi looked too pick up a serious niggle!!

Worthington looked rusty in attack. He bombed three nailed on tries by taking the wrong option. Kay could of had a hat trick today. I'm sure he will get better with more game time. Hock needs games, you could see he lacked game fitness. He will rip this league to shreds in a few weeks time.

Worthington didnt look 100% at left centre, sure Rowls must have been trying something out.

Charlie was happy nervous but happy , I backed Worky with 50 so it was very close , not sure why Barlow try was disallowed but thankful it was . On the whole a good performance ,Penky had a good game and for me love Brierleys distribution and ball play.

I thought Hock ran very hard and will get better , Fui had his leg in a brace after the game , hope it's not serious,thank to Trevor Barton for his hospitality.

Pace on the edges for me in this one..We had none.

Barlows try was not given because he didn't put the ball down simples ! .That should not happen even if your coasting along .Against Salford and that could of cost Leigh a win ,hope he gets a ticking off from rowls for that.

Worthington wasn't on his normal side today so you can give him a bit of slack. The two stand outs for me were Jamie Actin and Sean Penky. Penky is on fire at the moment. The lad has obviously worked hard on his defence and it really shows. Last two games u don't think anyone has got past Tommy and Penky when they are defending together. The two other forwards that had stand out games were Andrew Dixon and jake Emmitt. This on top of only very good hit outs for the rest of the big lads.
Gaz Hock is going to be awesome for us.
Hope the injury to Fui isn't too bad.

Agreed. If Barlow has to wind people up (and it seems as though he does!) then he needs to put the bloody ball down and score 1st. Didn't really matter much today but it was a ridiculous thing to do and i'm sure Rowley will have a word with him. Other than that he had a fantastic game.

Penky, Dixon and Brierley were all brilliant today. Penky especially, he ran them ragged.

Sorry Town couldn't give you as hard a game as we did home and away last season but the 2nd half was always going to be too much for us today with this being our part-timers 6th game in 22 days, and with no DR players from Wigan today. I only hope that some of our injuries aren't bad ones for our next matches. Leigh must be cast iron certs now to replace Wakey in SL if you keep it going.

Sam Barlow did the same thing against Hunslet showboating after going over the try line he wants to get his yed on right and just put the bloody ball down instead of messing around that apart Leigh played ok made many mistakes esp in the first half all the forwards played well Penky was again on form . The team will have to improve many aspects of their play if they are to stand any chance against Salford ..Another big win without hitting top gear should be a cracker next week against the Eagles

Always good to extend the winning record, played some good rugby Workington couldn't handle today. Acton really ran hard, hope Fui will be OK for Salford though. As for Higson V Pownall I always feel for Pownall as he really is a good quick winger just think Higson offers that little bit more in terms of strength & power as well as being very quick. Hope Rowley has a suitable forfit for Barlow lined up for being so daft. Will say though we do look very good & creative in attack there are times when we do look a bit not kmowing what to do, can end with silly offloads, sure it's something Rowley is working on though.

No need to fine Sam imo. Bet he doesn't do it again.
