Am I right in hearing that the grand final kick off time is 7pm on a Sunday? If so, how daft is that! Many people won't come now including my dad due to having to be up at 4 the next morning! You would if thought they would put it on a Saturday so everyone can enjoy themselves. What a joke

I could not agree more. It is also not conductive for families attending especially those with young children travelling over given it is school the next day. I have managed to book the day off work but not everyone will. The bottom line is that the attendance will be affected.
Great planning yet again.

Having the first game with a 10.30 am kick off wouldn't hit the gate, its less of a problem with Dewsbury in the final though

There were 3 games last season but if memory serves me right Batley-Sheffield kicked off at 5pm?
My lad will be in school the next morning but he'll be under strict instructions to fall asleep in the car on the way home  |

It really should have been on a Saturday, allows people to bring kids without worrying about school and allows the winning fans to celebrate the win more. I assume that's why The Challenge Cup Final and Super League Final were both on Saturdays, so should ours have been.

Well we all know reason for this, sky as mentioned by tv boy. One of my big concerns is the behaviour of fans, on both sides. With a 19.00 kuck off alot of people will drink too much and i just hope people enjoy themselves, but also behave.
