I counted 22 Stweards today plus they we're taking bottles of pop off everyone entering the ground , when the guardian of a young lad questioned this , saying he d brought pop every game previously , a steward said it's because of what happen last week , how insulting to compare us to a widnes fans and did they need 22 Stweards for 1300 fans

My mate counted 31... wonder if they were included in the attendance.

They were taking bottle tops off at the Featherstone game as well for what it's worth, so before the Widnes incidents.

Well who cares it was Swintons home game what surprises me is the number of Leythers who turned up today considering how good this Leigh team is.

Another top class performance too.

I saved my £15 to spend on us at the Heritage game, I cant recall the last Swinton game I attended. In recent years they have shuffled us in the south, not paid there bills to LSV and dont know if they have yet, our then Chairman leaves after the BoM had financially committed for 3 years, turns up at Swinton after his company sponsored Salford, and then takes Duffy from the Trust

If it had any importance I probably would have gone, it didn't and I didn't. Watched it on CTV instead

The LSV need to sort them selves out regarding drinks.......last Friday no bottles allowed in ground or sold on the night (everything in plastic glasses) - but selling them at the Swinton game.
Do it all the time 1 way or another IMO......double standards.

Nossy , I watched the Swinton game from the Swinton Directors box ,and most of the Swinton blokes made me welcome , but I felt our Ex-Chairman didn't want me there ,and didn't speak much , suffice to say im not a fan of his either .

Strange how we 'go off' folks, once they leave.

I also watch Wigan Athletic and you can take 2 Litre bottles of pop and they don't confiscate them or ask you to remove the tops. And there's more grief against the likes of Leeds Utd than a Leigh v Swinton game.
