Sadly other than that TBH hated my trip to Leigh ,there were at most 20 of us stood behind the sticks tonight , causing no bother to anyone . Gentle mick taking we can stand but a section of yours made it a torrid eighty mins of unwarranted and at the end of the day personally offensive comments and chanting..

Thirty years I've watched RL and its been along time since I've endured such persistent attempts to get a negative reaction from the away support (even more pointless bearing in mind we were getting stuffed from the word go)

Perhaps those fans wont be aware of the money we all paid to get through the gate or put over the bar ....mybe if we stay up we wont bother next year

Rach it may have been like that in the North Stand , but the 4 Cougars Morons , who continually hurled insults at Sam Barlow for most of the first half , and then had a go at a few Leigh fans in the second half were not a good advert for Keighley , and thet weren't young lads , I would say a couple in their 30s and 2 in their 40s , the Stewards warned them a few times .

Charlie as expected bats the ball back over the net because only Cumbrian and Yorkshire fans are naughty and foul mouthed. Leigh fans are angels, did the stewards warn any of them?

I'm not defending any of ours , all I 'm doing is seeing things from the perspective where we were stood..

And 80 mins well hell yes , it might not have been singing for the masse, but loads of smart d comments purposley made well within ear shot

and btw much as I'd never suppose that Leigh fans are automatically residents of Coronation Street Why the hell do your lot assume tat anyone with a Keighley postcodes only gainful employment is as an extra on Emmerdale and therefore is by genetics long gone always in some way related to the Dingle family.....seriously .....

As a Leigh fan, I agree with you. It is all childish and slightly aggressive. We should be welcoming opposing fans to LSV.

I can only apologise for the offensive comments.I was in the North Stand with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed your vocal enthusiasm and banter.I hope this doesn't put you off visiting again-stand at the back with us! Having been Leigh suppporters all our lives and having seen more thin times than anyother, myself and my old mucker Arthur were both seriously offended by the Keighley supporters chant of 'where were you when was ** expletive**

Personally I thought it was the best atmosphere in a while and the Cougars fans more than added to that.

What do u expect if u are going to stand in the middle of the home fans . Maybe next time you should stand with reffy .

No swear word was used. Leigh fans did swear though and a lady had to say something to them. Guess you didn't hear that though ? selective hearing no doubt.

To be fair I quite enjoyed the banter and that and the onky let down was from the Cougars players who was poor.

I am of an age when I find obscene chanting at opposition fans to be the most childish aspect of the game yet while Leigh supporters take great delight in labelling others fans, 'scum' & 'worst fans in the league', they have no problem when Leigh fans are the offenders.

"What do you expect", what a crass statement that is, when RL takes pride in being the game were fans don't need to be segregated, Leigh's token dinosaur come up trumps.
