You could pick negatives about the second half today all night but this team has just racked up its 18th straight league win in what is a very competitive division with plenty teams fighting for their lives, or for the jackpot

We could have won by 50, but we could also have ended up losing - but that team spirit kicked in and and we got over the line again

Yep, the 2nd half was a frustrating affair, but we have now beat shef twice, and to be honest we never really looked like losing.

Riddy critics take note, we missed his organisation and kicking today. Missed Oli too as a leader in the pack.
Still that is the beauty of this squad, we can be missing key players and still get the wins.

We deffo missed Riddy today , no disrespect to Bob B , but his open play kicking isn't up to Riddys standard , I admit I was sweating at the end and thought the seagulls came back well , maybe a couple of piggy backs from us , but that's life .My reckoning we are 4 games away from the League Leaders shield . Donny will be a tough test next week , I love going to the Keepmoat ,can we go unbeaten all season ?I have said no , but im beginning to Beleighve , as each game goes by .

I totally agree this team are amazing and they deserve all the praise recognition and plaudits they can get . Keep up the good work I am one very proud Leyther.

Great game to watch our kicking game was poor and one of our players needs to improve his discipline which lets him down at times great defence and to be honest we let Sheffield back into the game though poor play missed Riddy today but we still could have scrored 40 + Well Done Centurions 18 from 18 is outstanding by anyone's standards

Agree with all the posts, I think. We did miss Riddy today but like I said one of these days all those passes will stick and we will thump some team. I'm saying nothing about the official.

Agreed, this is certainly the best Leigh team I've ever seen they deserve massive congratulations and recognition for how they're playing and winning.

Thought we were much the better team today but again gave away a bit too much ball, know when you're trying to play fast attacking rugby that's going to happen sometimes though. Still Doncaster away now which I think will be the hardest game we've got left, win there and we'll go the whole season.

Warren Turley was so obviously trying not to prove he was a Leyther that he lost the plot completely! I don't think Sheffield were more than 6 yrdss from us during the whole game. What offside, sir?

Made me laugh when Penky pointed out on one of the tap penalties, that he was two yards over the line yet Warren had only taken them back to the next line.

Also think sheff had 7 tackles twice in the game.

That said, I didn't think he had a bad game overall,

Great performance first half - neither the players nor the coaching staff need advising on how to close out games when in a dominating position.
We just need to do it.
Agree with Salford Lad - some team soon is going to cop it when we put it all together for the full 80 - let's hope it is next week.
What is so positive is that, when threatened, we seem to be able to step up a gear and take the game away from the opposition. Sheffield didn't know what had hit them when they got within two points.
The most pleasing aspect of all is that we are 18 and 0 yet there is further improvement still available to tap - in the context of a full game. Unlike previous seasons when we have tended to tail off as the play offs approach - this time we have the potential to get even better and this season it is from a position of total domination of the league table.

And that is all that matters this season, top two and the funding that goes with it - play offs are for fun without the pressure but I am sure they will want to win that as well
