What impresses me most these days is the number of youngsters, girls, ladies that follow the Centurions. Awesome !!!!!! All proud to wear the shirt and fly the flag. That is the future.

I believe the target market for us is mums, too many Dads would rather spend the day in the pub with sky sports than take the kids to a game, indeed do anything with the kids, take a look at the touchlines when the kids are playing jnr RL - more women than blokes these days

When you look at the crowd snaps on twitter etc I am also delighted with the mix we now get to games

The demographic has certainly changed this year. It used to depress me travelling to away games at times and feeling like I was the youngest there.

If the club was to follow Nostrodamus's lads thoughts on targeting the finer sex they have to give thought to it, a dad will take his son/daughter to a match on their own, a mum will be much more likely to attend in groups

Having spent the end of this week up in Workington, I was interested to hear adverts being run on Cumbria FM advertising the Haven/Leigh match targeting women bored of watching ' namby/pamby ' rolling round on the floor footballers at the WC in Brazil, suggesting they should get down to the rec and watch ' real ' men playing a real sport

Radio Cumbria do a good job in promoting their teams, it was the same the other week when we were up there.

Well done Cumbria FM for saying what I am sure we all feel about the overpaid and under performing Premier League Prima Donnas!

I hear from my daughter there is a big group of lady Leigh supporters on this face ache / book / whatever, titled leyther ladies.

It's very encouraging to see our club reaching out and appealing to all of the town's folk.

We have important things to discuss like who's got the fittest bum and who's got the finest thighs; things you men folk wouldn't understand - so don't come snooping.
