Was a good player Gary. I can still remeber the length of the field try he scored at Barrow when he caught the ball behind his own posts and ran the full length without a finger laid on him.

Never let anyone down did Gary when ever he pulled on the Leigh shirt, especially when he was occasionally called upon to cover for the world's best winger at the time. Des Drummond.
No easy task that. I will try and catch up with him at some point.

I'm sure it was Gary who was playing full back once at Oldham when the ball was bobbing along behind our own line and he did a massive swing of his leg and missed the ball completely and they scored...

Thanks for the comments Charlie. I have just over 100 email addresses of former players I am making contact with.
I will keep pushing and pushing with them, I do think it is good for the club - and the association - if we can get different players to do the Q&A in the Legends bar before the games.
And of course, we would love Tommy to do it one day!

Pre-match in Legends is fast becoming the place to be on match days. One of the great things I've noticed in there is that when the guests are being interviewed you can hear a pin drop. They really do capture everyone's attention. Some of the stories they tell are both eye opening and some of them absolute comedy gold. If you haven't been to Legends before the match in previous weeks I strongly urge you to get down there for our next game.
