Charlie spoke to Riddy after the game , he said he first did the injury last week at Barrow , and aggravated today , it was strapped up , but nothing serious .

Glad that it's not serious. Riddy is one of those players that you really only realise how much he actually does when he's not playing.

Riddy is the 'key' to our attack and IMO our most important player. The pack set the platform, Brierley, McNally and a few of the others seem to make the breaks and score the tries but Riddy is what joins it all together and turns it into the try scoring machine we seem to have this year. Having an amazing season so far with the boot too!

A "stinger" is a commonly used term in North America for any contact that causes shooting pains and lingering numbness down an arm and tenderness in the neck/shoulder area. Often caused by the top of the head or point of the shoulder coming into solid contact with another persons body or the ground.

Roller Derby Like I said, usually a North American term. Always thought I heard an american accent hidden behind Riddy's Leyther twang.

Martyns goals kicked against Whitehaven moved him into the 300 goals for the club he being the 7th most prolific kicker in the clubs history (inc drop goals).
His kicking stats for this season so far is 90%.
