953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

| Two Hull FC players "surplus to requirements" sign permanent deals with Doncaster. They will also have upto 5 Hull FC players on Dual Reg. Sorry but too coincidental for me, and with apparently a big chunk of money on offer for the top end Champ clubs it could skew the league a little.
I know the rules are there and have not been changed as far as DR goes but couldn't they bring in a rule that for every two players that 'permanently' sign from the partner club reduces the DR allowance by one.

| The two players who have signed for Donny are now their players.
Don't see why their DC players should be limited tbh.
This season we are in the fortunate position of being able to rely on our own squad.
Oh and just to wind Fev fans up aren't they Warringtons feeder club ?

Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.

Talk about being bitched - what a torrid time they've had. They'll be looking for some A&E rest time for the next three years at least.:simpsons/PDT13.gif |

| I suppose it would depend on whether these "permanent" signings continue to train full time with HFC or not

| It's something that the RFL should have seriously looked at this season especially with greater ramifications for clubs in the championship. There is nothing to stop a club involved in these partnerships signing players from a SL club on supposed permanent 12 month contracts and then others on DR.Then there is the possibility of usi g senior SL players returning from injury.

| The RFL should insist on a maximum of five in the starting 17 and none should have made more than 10 first team appearances.

| What a load of tosh this thread , we Doncaster have signed 2 lads from Hull who have been released by Hull. They are too old for the u19 & not considered good enough to break into the 1st team at Hull.
Last season we didn't abust the system whilst linked with Wakefield , we played fringe players.
We are linked with some young Hull FC players on Dual Reg.
We also have players who live in Hull , does DemonUk want us to sack them !
COYD
Cannot deny the 25 man bit & I donot agree with it either !

| The number of DR players allowed in any game has been reduced to 3 for this season. It doesn't matter how many players are registered for DR only 3 can play.
It all depends on how strong the Championship club coach is and only takes players when they are needed. Last season all the Widnes players were registered for DR with Workington but some weeks the Town coach refused to take any players on offer.

| Glad to see there's been a reduction in the number of DRs you can have on the pitch; would still like to see a cap on how many you can have in the squad and apply a minimum term (like the one month for loaned players) so even if the receiver club never gets a chance to play the DR player they can't swap him until his month with them is up. It'd encourage coacher to think much more carefully about which players are sent and accepted. Also want to see an end to the partnerships and go back to an open market where anyone can be DRed to anyone.

| Mind you last season the regulation was for 5 DR and / OR loan players in any one match. The new proposal only talks about 3 DR players in any one match so it may be that a team could also have several loan players. I think that really needs clarifying.
