Other teams are announcing pre-season games. Any idea who we are planning to play in our friendlies? Can we NOT play Wigan this time, it's getting a little dull. (Saints/Salford/Widnes would be interesting.)

Given that it's usually our biggest crowd of the season, I'd suggest that many fans feel different, and the BoM will likely see it as a sensible thing to arrange.

I reckon Salford owe us - big time - after last pre-season's let down. Perhaps they can be persuaded to turn up with their new squad of superstars, and donate all the gate to us?

The attendance for the Wigan match is getting steadily lower each pre-season, and judging by the squad they sent last time I think it might be tough to sell it to the fans. Think Saints would bring a few fans. And yes Salford do owe us one.

Well we should be looking for clubs who might give us the gate receipts and have fans who will travel.

I'd go for Wire Wigan and Leeds.

I wouldn't entertain Salford after the stunt they pulled last time I would much prefer Widnes myself as they bring a few as they feel they owe us one from our previous games.

From what I have heard, Wigan have been told we don't want a friendly if there gonna send there kids, Salford looking very likely, we are apparently looking at 5 friendlies with there being NRC

I enjoyed the Swinton friendly, the pitch looked lovely under all the snow

Bit unfair to judge the new set up at Salford based on what happened during the dying days of the old regime. Imagine Salford would bring a healthy following eager to see their new signings. It would certainly make me get off my backside and go, if I want to see academy players I will nip across to Orrell one Saturday afternoon or watch Swinton Wolves.

Do swinton even still exist. Not seen any news of signings, where they are playing etc etc
