No wonder crowds in sl are struggling. I was out in leigh last night, enjoying some fine beer, and there was a bloke wearing a wigan shirt in the pub watching the game. Now why on earth was this person not 7 miles away at the dw supporting his team, i cant for the life of me understand why u would go out to the pub in your replica jersey and cheer your team on, rather than go to the game, perplexed is putting it mildly.

Did sound like it had a echo in the DW last night ,they only seem to turn out for the Sts n Wire .

To be fair he probably was like a lot of the wigoon fan's who havn't a clue but like to show how knowlagable they are by supporting a successfull team.
He may have had a good reason not to go and support them who knows, the sad thing would be "if" he was a born and bred Leyther and actually "CHOSE" to wear a wiggin shirt

The guy is probably making a stand at his club being twinned with the" Mighty Centurions" and hates being a feeder team

He could have been making a statement , boycotting the DW because of deserting Central Park , or because Wigan have signed Sam Hopkins , or he may be the Wigan equivilant of WYSIWYG .
