Great team performance but for me he was mom on Saturday! They were scared to death of him running at them! Superb! Proud to be a Leyther.

Watched the game again today and will stick with what i said on saturday Tommy Goulden MOM.
Penky,Beswick,Riddy,all had great games,also Matt Gardner has his best game in a Leigh shirt.
His interception right on our line,probably turned out to be the gamebreaker.
Would also mention Anthony Bate,he has played about half a dozen games in 1st team,but looks like he has been around for years.All the team deserve praise for a great performance,i think Sheffield thought that they could bully us,but they came unstuck.

Chuffed for Penky on Saturday I even got chance to tell him after the game when your lads came over to the South Stand, cheers Penky you now have a haul of winning medals to reward your years of playing the game.

Along with Astons selection of his forwards which were baffling to say the least!!

You never know, we might get to see him in a fax shirt again.

He was my initial choice straight after the game and having watched it again I stick with Tommy as MOM. Worked his chuff off in attack and defense
Re Penky I think he had the best game I've seen him play in a Leigh shirt and really pleased that he justified the faith shown in him by the coaching staff. A real class display.
All that said, Riddy had a blinder too

Rob Parker was great when he came on too !

Watched the game and Tommy's tackling was awesome. He was bang up for it.
I love our club and all who sail in her.

Got to echo this.
Parker and Spencer were a big part of the turning of the tide. The way they ran at the sheff line was impressive, and knocked what energy was left out of there defensive line. Getting Rob back for this game was huge.
