Can't see why not - he's well down the pecking order among W*gan front rowers - which must be why he's been available for selection by us so often - and the 'umble speccies don't rate him (God alone knows why!!). They've also brought in Hoppy, Powell, and that NZ lad (Merrydown or whatever he's called!!) to cover the departure of Hock, Mossop, Tuson, etc...rather than promote from within!!

Charlies MOM was Tommy Goulden , he played like a man possessed ,no frills , just hard work and plenty of effort , he is the Rock of this Leigh team , though Spenners is a man mountain , I have a very good feeling about the future of Leigh Centurions , and I call on ALL those fans who came to the Shay today , to come to Hunslet next week to show the lads we support them , and then return to the LSV , on the 4 th August to show the lads and the Board we care and will follow them , as well as the Players , Coaching Team ,our Board have been working tirelessly these last couple of weeks to make things happen ,for me Andy Mazey , Alan Platt , and Steve Openshaw were also stars yesterday well done to the Board for making Charlies Match experience Perfect . .

If anyone couldn't get to the LSV after the game and see Spencer on the field starting all the songs off between the players, I suggest you try and find somebody that may have recorded it, had me in stitches, can see all players love having him there and vice versa.

Spencer was magnificent again, sooner we get him signed up the better! no reason why we can't shoot up that table now and beat Halifax to 3rd spot, Batley lost again today against a good Doncaster side

Im sure Paul and the Board would love to sign Tom Spencer , but we need another 300-400 through the gates at the LSV , to help them do this start spreading the word , some familiar faces at the Shay in the Leigh end , id not seen for a while yesterday .

Agree fully about spencer, terrific player & looks like he loves playing for us. On yesterday's mom anyone 1-17 could have won it & there could be no complaints, but after watching the full game again I have to say Penky was on fire and really got us playing and rolling forward in that 2nd half spell.
