| My youngest son had the privilege of being the mascot on Sunday last for the game against Whitehaven, from the minute we walked into reception he was treated like royalty, with a tour of the stadium including the changing rooms etc. We were made to feel extremely welcome and he also got to take part in the coin toss and had various photos with players.
The whole experience for him was overwhelming and we would just like to thank Rob Parker and Jonny Simpkin who looked after us extremely well as did the guy who does the P.A. (Think he is called David). Countless players and officials including Ryan Brieley, Riddy and even paul rowley came over to chat with him.
After the game we enjoyed half an hour in the banqueting suite and i spoke with andy and Alan mazey, I remember andy from some years ago as we both grew up in Westleigh, these two along with rob spoke very passionately about what they are trying to re create with the club and i also pecked there heads a little over the Leigh east situation and they pledged their support. To finish off we are Wigan supporters but due to work and amateur rugby commitments dont get time to see a lot of games, however my youngest has bought a Leigh shirt and is now a firm fan and cant wait for the Batley game.

10303_1313522771.jpg Bolton by birth,
Irish by blood,
LEYTHER by heart and soul!!
30/04/06 "Some of W*gan's travelling fans headed towards the exit before it was even over.".................no change there then!![/quote:suio7kr3]
.....They are our people. Drummond, Costello, Manfredi, Svabic, Martyn, Street, Tickle, Patel, Mossop, Horo, Bristow, Leuleui, Varley, Fleary, Rivett, Tabern, Doran, Woods, Donlan, Wilshire, Leaefa, Hansen, Sale, Murphy… these are all my people.
As a Leyther, you’re one of us the moment you come here to wear the shirt. I don't care where you were born, what colour you are, what religion you are, what language you speak. You're one of us, part of our culture, writing our history as you create your own, and making us stronger for it....[/quote:suio7kr3]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10303.jpg |

| Good to hear - another young Leyther 'saved' from a lifetime of shame as a W*gan fan!!
Only kidding - really good to hear that you all enjoyed your day. These are the sorts of positive experiences we need to be shouting about!! Well done to all who made this lad's day!!

| That's lovely to hear, it's amazing how small things can make a huge difference. I'm so pleased you all had a great day (and well done to your lad for having more taste than his dad).

Was good to meet you and your family Sunday and am made up it wont be long before we see you all again.
Its very kind of you to give positive feedback on your experience and it is much appreciated as we embark on trying to improve the match day experience for the remainder of this season with some big plans for next season and beyond.

| I had new sponsors over who invest heavily at Saints, Wire and Man U. It was a low key family and fathers day more than sponsorship for them on Sunday - they absolutely loved it, her lad especially so and he will be mascot for the Fax game and they have taken the main match sponsorship for the Dewsbury game.
Good things are starting to happen again, remember Rome wasn't built in a day but the future is looking very good.

| I think the opening post is fantastic.
One of my granddaughters is a fan.
Next time I see her I will ask her will she be a mascot at one of our home games. She fancies Bob Beswick sinced he signed her club shirt.
Mrs Beswick just in case you read this don't worry she is only 7.
