The TDC would publically like to show their gratitude to the players and staff yesterday.
Both Paul Rowley and Rob Parker were in very difficult positions having to rally their troops after the bad news of Saturday.
Those of you on Twitter may have picked up on the players pre-match comments asking for our support. Having spoken for a few hours with both of them in the day leading up to the game it was clear they wanted to put the pressures to one side, and play not just for themselves but for us. The fans. Pride in the shirt, backs to the wall. Rob Parker told us the win was as good as any medal he's won in the game.
Yesterday they showed the Leigh public there is something worth fighting for.
Its now our turn to mirror that determination.

Could not agree more. Proud of the whole team, awesome defensive effort. Pride in the shirt showed and had the same sense of team effort as we had at the w---n game. Rob was awesome & well deserved Mom award.

I am so proud to be a Leyther. Rob Parker was awesome yesterday even when he wasn't.on the field He was running up and down the touch line motivating the players. All the players showed pride and commitment to be able to produce a performance like they did. Well done to each and every one of you and also the coaching and back room staff .

Agree about the player comments, 10/10 to them all.
In terms of the future I think a brief outline from the current BoD or the current CEO would help us fans understand what the clubs future is as at the minute everything is being put out on twitter and such like but nothing official has been forthcoming from the club as to why we are in such a (supposed) mess and as to how this has been allowed to happen so quickly and seemingly without any of the current BoD or CEO acting (rally call or otherwise).
Yes things need to move quickly off the field but to start with isn't it time we had some cold hard facts so people (be it fans, sponsors or potential investors) know exactly what the status of Leigh Centurions is.

From a Lisa point of view well proud of the commitment shown yesterday by the players and coaching team in a difficult time.
LISA has been there for a long time and will always be there . With more members just think what we could do........
Hope it's resolved by the time I'm back off hols , although I'll keep a close eye on things via the Internet .

I took 4 Junior Centurions yesterday. All of them loved it and want to go again. Our memberships continue to rise by the day, there are lots and lots of positives at the club.
Juniors are going well.
TDC is working.
Apprentices are doing a cracking job.
Stadiums great.
Teams belting.
We've started working better with LSV.
Good coach.
Great 1400 hard core fans.
We need investment, and clarity.
Then P&R to give us a goal.
Bickering won't get us anywhere.

Slightly o/t but we got 'nabbed' for a Junior Centurion wristband at the Wigan game the other week by a very polite positive lady.
Seems like some good things planned to be happening at the Junior Centurions from what she was saying. |

We have a great club and the most passionate hardcore of any club. Just like any family we bicker and fall out, but in times of need we come together, make up and tackle the problem

Was a great performance by the lads showed commitment and pride to the badge........Negative; will a 20-0 victory over Batley Bulldogs attract new fans ?
