I was also there, got out of school early to get there. Was also nearly trampled in the stampede at the end of the game. Happy happy days

Were are them 1000`s now..................we need them through the turnstiles today. Lets see if the glory hunters from the Wigan game turn up - I know a few who went who hardly turn up at the LSV.
Time for them to show they want a club and not just be there for the good times.

Don't worry I wont......just annoys me when you get em all in the pubs saying "I remember when they were great in the 70`s and 80`s"..or "I was there in 71".
Its because of people like this turning their backs on the club that we ain't a big club anymore and struggle financially. |

I was in whitehaven that day, i was 6 years old. My brother and my dad went to the match but i was more interested in birdwatching so my mum took me to st bees head. saw some guillemots and razorbills. very nice day. Don't regret not going to the match at all, honestly.
