Just been reading in league express, rowley to decide if to extend or bring back nicholson from barrow. Well after the shambles of fax, i say bring him back ASAP and stick him in the team, we need all the fit players we can to rotate the team, and put a rocket up a few players, and as a reminder that just cos we have a small squad, your 1st team place is not guaranteed.

Don't bring him back because we want to as many fit players as possible.Bring him back because Bobby B is terrible and Penky is not on it at the moment. Always rated Nicholson. Bobby B has been terrible this season.

Well I like Nico as a player but if you think if we bring him back our current problem will be solved I think you are with respect wrong.
Our problem is bad defence pure and simple and that is what needs sorting.
I have said before if you analyse the tries we have conceded you should be able to work out who was responsible for missing such and such a tackle or being out of position and that is what coaches do and then rectify the problem.
Well that's what I think.

Well I am in total agreement with Frank. Also I don't think that Nicos defence is the best so he would make no difference to this team. We need a first class defence coach and a half back pairing that is firing on all cylinders.

How does a hooker ask questions when every time he picks the ball up the markers are set and organized and the defensive line is back ready to move forward? If the forwards arnt good enough to win the tackle then you could have anyone of 17 at acting half and it wont matter, forwards win the tackle and a player like Penky(Who I still think is the best hooker in the league) comes in to his own. |
