As many of you might know one of our oldest fans terry was 65 today, struggling with illness hes not been able to get to the games since featherstone away first game of the season. Today i went around to his home in westhoughton to give him his birthday wishes where all his family were there aswell. Sat there talking to terry who was his usual self talking about the centurions and cracking jokes, the doorbell rang and Ryan Brierley alongside leigh kit man Frank Taylor was at the door with a signed shirt and a birthday card for terry, for a young lad who just turned 21 himself i thought it was an incredible gesture from him and he spent a good 2 hours with terry chatting away about rugby in general and of course his beloved centurions. Thank you so much Ryan you certainly made terrys day and i hope you can get the win for him this sunday! Thanks again

That's just put a big smile on my face. Both Frank and Ryan are stars. Frank and his missus made our Ol feel really special when we went for his shirt before Xmas. Ryan, well the way he is with the fans after games is nothing short of supeperb. Happy birthday Terry by the way.

I dont know Frank personally , but from what i have seen he is a genuine Leyther , but young Ryan is a credit to the club , nothing is ever to much trouble for him , when i see him anywhere he always waves or comes ove for a chat , this lad is pure class , as a player , and as a Human Being , his parents should be proud of him , again well done Ryan and Frank .
