Its hard to not think Mr Wilkinsons reputation as someone who runs a sound ship, is going to be in tatters when this comes to an end.

Agreed.You'd have thought they would have got an accountant in to do the work properly before going to press .As it stands it looks like they are getting a lot of pleasure from just trying to annoy people.

Is that why this charade has been dragged out since July. The nearer they get to the start of SL season means there's more chance of the RFL finding it far too difficult to redo the fixtures. They don't have to though do they. Every Salford fixture just becomes a bye week

As a salford city council employee i am disgusted with the amount of money being poured into this club(salford). And at a time were many council employees face massive reductions in pay or worse unemployment. I have made my feelings known to the councillors and made my union know what is happening. I would not like any rugby club to go bust as it plays a major part in communities however it should not be at the expense of hard working people.

Do the LSV put hard cash into Leigh coffers (not coffey). Salford loans and back door cash and redirection of council monies from a charity are a completely different kettle of fish.

I think you;ll find that the LSV give us reduced rates etc,wiaver charges to help us, not actually give us any money, thats a big difference.

Being 'supported' and being 'propped up' are worlds apart.

If its a genuine partnership between the lsv and the centurions, and the club isn't running up debts it will never be able to repay, then its irrelavant whats happening here

Its not looking good for Salford just been listening about their problems on Radio Manchester GMR. Not sure what will happen but no matter it is another sad day for this great game.

I just wish the idiots who are running the game at RLF HQ will get their heads from up their fat backsides and let common sense prevail.
