According to Tommy on Twitter, he has been told he will not be retained and is now free to look for another club. All the best lad. I suppose someone had to make way, if all the transfer rumours are true. We cannot sign everyone. Enjoyed watching Tommy in a Leigh shirt, but as I say, don't suppose we can be making lots of new signings and afford to retain all our current players.

Agree about Tommy's skills and effort. Suppose it came down to a choice between him and some of the other rumoured signings and if the speculation is to be believed, we seem to have opted for Aspinwall, who has played prop for Hull this year.

He's certainly not let us down on the occasions that he's had a chance this season and I'd have hoped we'd have found a spot for him somewhere for 2013. He'll be a big asset for a different club next year.

Hope in his last few games, he doesn't lose interest because of this. This is why I think all contracts and transfers should be at end of season like football. Too much distraction. Even Brierly admitted it and said it affected his performance.

Not big enough for what we need. When we play the likes of Fev, Batley and Sheff, they have beaten our pack with size. Rowls has learned from this and we will be a bigger size next season. Taking nothing away from Tommys contribution this season.

We'll have to disagree on that one & regards Ostick it was in jest as if your opinion that Tommy was too small what would you think a smaller statured Ostick
