I thought we looked poor in the first half and came into our own and played abit of rugby in the 2nd half. I cant see us winning the grand final with that 17 plus Duffy/Pownall. I just think Fev will be too strong with Parker and Hopkins id be more confident but just cant see it. Getting to the grand final would be just as good as winning the league after the position we was in, in the close season. Who got M.O.M was thinking Mcnally/Riddy/Beswick all played well. Looking forward to the play offs now just need to get the win against Swinton now. We beLEIGHve

I think we have a very good game plan against weaker teams, we've done this plenty of times this year where we win the arm wrestle in the first half which looks scrappy and flat, then bring Brierley on once they're tiring and open them up.

Can think of quite a few games where we have done this, York, Hunslet, Barrow, Batley and Sheffield earlier in the season just off the top of my head.

I probably won't see any playoff games as a new leyther is on the way in the next few weeks, but i'll be there in spirit!

Riddy got MOM.

The first half of last nights game was Complan rugby , send you to sleep , but in the second half , we woke up , Riddy took control of the game linking the forwards with the backs and it was very good .

Brierley again was outstanding , good news about his signing ,but i felt we missed Parker and Hoppy ,i think we have a chance against Fev , provided we play like we did in the second half , attack them from all over the field , that inside ball fools nobody , close down Finn and Kain fast , and do as Fax did .

On another point , i did my bit for care in the Community last night , and kept Detroitsoul company ,he spilt Coffee all down his coat , how he could miss his mouth is beyond me , but i helped care for the owd un , i think he enjoyed the game .

Yes 1st half was very boring for a Leigh fan but thought Keighley played some good rugby in the 1st 40 mins but I new they wouldn't be able to keep it up and so did the players hence the tries in 2nd half ,Leigh were just biding their time ,not overdoing it but just doing enough .It was never going to be the atmosphere of the Fax game either .

What was the score and attendance please?

I must agree , i thought the Cougars tried hard in the first half , they didnt roll over , my forcast tip of 40-10 would have been right to but for Semis try .

The score was 40-14 to Leigh , the crowd was something like 1550.

It was announced at 1597.

Had Keighley's winger not got himself justifiably sinbinned I feel the score would not have been so big. Keighley undoubtably ran out of steam.

First half was awful.
