Leigh definitely NOT going to become a feeder club only caught last 30 mins or so on Leighlife radio

Looking at dual reg players from Wigan for 2013, and signing a big prop.
Brierley hopeful of being at Leigh next year.
Club almost now self-sufficent - likely to break even by end of year.
2013 KO times/days not decided yet - waiting for results of the questionnaires.
Retail unit opening in market hall in September - match tickets can be bought from there,
Won't be a feeder club for anyone - intend to make a genuine SL bid in 2014.
And the pies were good.

No disrespect to Salford but Wigans and Wires u20`s are better than theirs........ if were going to get duel/loan players - this is were we should get them from.

Happy about the market shop. Been sayin for years this is the best place to sell shirts, merchandise, tickets etc.
If we got Brierly on board again next year, that would be brilliant news.
Great news that the club is finally stable and moving forward

As i said before things are looking optimistic and positive , i for one NEVER thought we would ever become a feeder club , especially to Salford not with Wire and Wigan being there , hopefully we can move forward in all depts ,and progress .

As for the signings next year , i hope Ryan Brierley can be signed , and i feel a couple of what i call X-factor players will improve us ,if we can achieve the 2nd Spot this year i feel Paul R and his staff deserve a big Along with Trevor B for his work .

Lets now forget all this negative talk , move forward , be positive , and cheer Leigh on tomorrow to beat Fax .

Does anyone know why 7:30pm KO was chosen instead of 8pm? Thursdays I know why of course.

I've got to say that I'm a bit discouraged by the amount in interest in last nights fans forum.

The presentations were very good, the news was great and considering the position we were in this time last year, I think the club has exceeded all our expectations, however.... there was about 80 people at the forum and only about 36 people listening in on the Leighlife broadcast, so why isn't anyone interested in hearing about the good news?

Is the problem that we have nothing really to moan about? The lads are playing great, the club is being run better than it's ever been before, the communication with/from the club has never been better and we're in a great position to move the club forward....yet no one seems that interested.

I think it's very worrying.

Should we make the grand final there will be a buzz again.
We need a good result Friday and then win the last two games, go up to Fev and win, dont try and get the home game because weve never won a playoff game at home for a long long time, the money we can make off getting to the final will compensate for the loss of that home game.
As for playing at 7.30 instead of 8, only thing, I could think, is perhaps to inconveniance Fax(Their team I mean), just a thought.
