Well it makes me think that Championship clubs are there to serve the needs of Non Relegation League clubs and it will save the Non Relegation clubs money.

Is it true ? No idea. Now' if it is true we know we have the cartel which I warned about when licenscing was introduced.

If SL clubs are finding it too costly to run U20's, it makes you think how difficult it is for we Championship 'minions'.

Definitely something to steer WELL clear of as far as I can see it. Whether we have that option is another matter.

From next season, 2013, it will change to under 19's and under 23's at SL level. Then in 2014 the 23s will be scrapped. Presumably paving the way for more dual reg etc.

I think that the championship clubs should continue to develop their own academy and reserves leagues. Leigh have shown this year how successful they can be. And no disrepect but the championship clubs under 18s are not good enough to play with SL academies due to them having the majoiry of the better players. Championship clubs need to play against each other to develop on a level playing field and make more competitive games.

I agree and if we had had a 21/23s this season we would have coped better with the injury crisis we have had, we ran with a small squad and no reserves to draw from. I think we have done really well considering. Fev have had an 15s/16s, 18s and a reserve grade this season.

Fev 18s have ran a lot of the SL sides close this season and have been underestimated. The scholarship system at under 15's and 16's is definately the way forward in developing players (however I know this costs money). Leigh had a scholarship a couple of years ago and played against SL clubs. Presume this was scrapped due to cost.

Leigh (and the other championship clubs) need a scholarship in place to get the best players at a youngest age. The under 18s have done great this year but the better u18s players are at SL academies. Leigh should be doing their upmost to get these best players, especially the ones from Leigh amateur clubs.

Agreed' but Championship clubs would pay the cost and then the lads end up at where for the cost of to Non Relegation Clubs ?

Scrap licenscing it is killing our pro game.

Would a licensing approver please let us know how it will ever let a Championship club expand its fan base or improve its financial prospects.

Can you imagine a Championship club ever getting to Wembley for a Cup Final ?

Look at footie when a club has a chance of promotion do their crowds increase or reduce or stay the same ?
