| Touchdown Club Members from Ask Platt and Euroscreen have raised almost £2700 on their bike ride to Batley yesterday.
This is a fantastic achievement, a massive well done to those involved and to all those who sponsored them. Backsides are still sore after the 52 mile journey with an ascent of 2466ft and decent of 2205ft. 
We'd love to top the £3000 mark so if anyone is feeling generous please drop us a message or email so we can reach our magic figure.

I was with the Platts (Alan,Chris and Dave) and Chris Garfin on the ride. The riding conditions were poor and, in places, the terrain was difficult (ie inclines of 10% plus). In addition none of the four riders had bikes which I would regard as ideal for this type of ride.
The determination and endeavour to complete the ride in a credible time was outstanding. The team spirit displayed throughout the ride replicated that of the Centurions.
