Here's an interesting one.
Just suppose Bobby Richman buys a worthless Bulls in administration for £1, offering to pay 50p in the pound on the debt. He then moves the club to the LSV, playing out this season as the BB's then requests a name change to Leigh Bulls for 2013.
Would this get RFL approval??????????? £850k to get a SL licence seems cheap to me.

Possibly not as the RFL would make multiples on its investment if say Bradford Council wanted to use Odsal for a Landfill site and bought the lease back to do so.
The players contracts would be null and void imo and don't forget the hypothetical scenario here to create discussion - I see CC attempted to derail again, must refer to Acorn juice soon.

No they wouldn't. TUPE regulations would allow the players to walk away from their contracts, but the club would be bound by law to honour the contract of any player that wanted it honouring. |

Nothing to derail Mo ,i just see you again playing Devils Advocate  all the "What Ifs "in the world dont mean anything , you will be saying next "What If " we end up with Salford Centurions playing at the LSV , it wont happen , get real , as ive said in the past the "Rubbish " i talk is just as good as yours or anyone elses , just a bit "Lighter ", thats all . |
