Firstly, thanks to all of our customers on eBay the club has just purchased a new Marquee which will be making many appearances in the near future. This is in addition to all of the new training equipment which was bought to help Paul get the squad ready every week.

It has always been our intention to bring the eBay shop under the direct control of the club so that there is a constant revenue stream and a way for supporters to donate items directly and the club to sell merchandise internationally. There are some exciting plans ahead for this.

Due to be listed in the next week or 2 we have - old programmes including several rarities, player issue kit, an England signed shirt, a Hamilton Accies signed football (one for you Matt!), and lots of kit and books.

Great to see us have our own marquee, now let's get the marquee sponsored and have the Leigh centurions badge on. Also make it available for the Ameteur clubs around the area to use.

I know someone who owns a bouncy castle company, maybe they could source one of those wavy things for us at cost price?

ive literally just been speaking to my mate about this - the club purchase a bouncy castle (maybe we can hire it out for party's) . we have a van, maybe we can use that to deliver?

i would imagine they charge 150ish for a bouncy castle for a full day on the weekend? we charge £50 and people will buy?

i could be completly wrong but would anyone give it a shot?

Not quite that simple ste, you are in ' volunteer country ' again, and there are other issues like insurance to consider

I'd keep it as a club used item, but as I said make it available for sponsorship from different organisations

More a case of covering other costs associated with having ' events ' , so the club isnt constantly being asked for money, ie, have a seperate marketing budget account that cannot be ' hijacked ' for a big prop or fast winger

is it not worth asking who ever runs the vehicle we use to advertise to deliver and set up? for a small cut. I was unaware we would need insurance but i suppose if a kid came off and broke anything ....

even if we didnt make money from it, in the long run we would save a fortune. we must pay a bit too hire on for a few hours! i know the one being used sunday is paid for by the RFL because it was too windy to use at the leeds game
