The club should get in touch with whoever is in charge of the Spinning gate and get the Murphy flag up in there for the next two week, with posters advertising the game.

Just like in ’71 the club should encourage the shops to put window displays on Wishing them Good Luck. Start with current associates Jitterbugs, etc, isn’t someone on here at Gills and hopefully it’ll spread.

Yes start the campaign today, get the poster s done, give us all some copies, lets get them up all over the town, not just the centre either.

Lets advertise it as a 70s theme day, get a Leeds junior team down pre match v east/ miners select junior team or have two leeds team v east miners, get as many kids in the east stand as possible, dont care if we give the tickets away, lets make it a day to remember no matter the result.

i'll put up a poster in Gills window and one in the waiting area.

Cool , well they've boosted number of followers on twitter and other groups , an open page for Leythers to join or like could generate more interest in the Quarter final , and it's free advertising . Why not hedge our bets and see if that works , my vote would be with Ste setting up the page

As a club this is a prime opportunity to get amongst lapsed fans and those who rarely attend with the hope of keeping them coming for the Hunslet league game etc - your plan will never do that.

One thing if it's a 70, s theme day most of the Leeds fans won't have to change their Clothes
